It’s no secret that we may be a little excited for the 666th Annual Punk Rock Halloween Bash coming up this Friday and Saturday at The Yucca Tap Room. To be fair, we’ve been patiently waiting for months while watching details about the show unravel. The anticipation has been painful, and now the reckoning upon us.
So last month we had the opportunity to do some interviews when the Fat Wreck tour passed through. We got to talk to Chris from Less Than Jake, Pat from Anti Flag, the legally challenged Masked Intruder and Sam & Tim from Get Dead. It was a challenge at times, doing that many interviews in one night but all the bands were helpful and really nice. Thanks to Talia for editing the videos and our own Gaby Kaos for setting everything up.
We were lucky to have a chance to interview the one and only Dick Lucas, front man for the legendary Subhumans (UK) who will be playing in the valley next Wednesday at Club Red. Check it out!
Thank you for taking the time to answer few questions for us, I am sure you are very busy getting ready for the November shows here in the states. I can tell you that the local bands that are playing with you and the rest of the Subhumans are very excited; it is their chance to play with a band that has been very influential for many years and have a great following.
Off The Mark? Where have they been? Well here is their new album! ”Aging Disgracefully” bigger and better I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. You can stream it below for free! If you love it go ahead and buy it and support your local AZ bands. We had the chance to talk to Cole Tonge singer/guitar player for Off The Mark to tell us a little more about this album and the band.
One of the busiest dudes around, Elvis from Left Alone, spared a few minutes from his always busy schedule to answer a few questions for us. Between Left Alone, playing with The Transplants and running his own label Elvis could never be accused of taking it easy.
