Bridge Nine Records has finally issued an official release date and a better look into xXx Fanzine‘s upcoming comprehensive book looking into how 1980’s hardcore and punk grew into a force of nature through the lens of Boston’s influential zine.
Kevin Seconds from the legendary 7 Seconds and our friend Kepi Ghoulie played an awesome acoustic show at the Lost Leaf a few weeks ago, we got to see them play, have a few beers and hang out. If you are a fan of 7 Seconds go to Kevin’s page and check out his acoustic stuff, I don’t think he gets enough attention for the great music he has been making lately. The same goes for Kepi, he has been writing and touring a lot these past couple of years so go see what he is up to.
The 3rd day of Punk Rock Bowling and Youth Of Today kicked it off the right way for us, such an awesome band that I always seemed to miss over the years. Kevin Seconds came out and did a song with them. 7 Seconds were awesome as always. GBH were great as they always are, I have seen them play at least 10 times throughout the years and never miss a show. Later in the evening we got to hang with and see AZ locals BroLoaf tear it up and make a damn mess at a club show. Always feel sorry for whomever has to clean up after them : )
