Here are some photos of Broloaf by Mikey Kaos. He didn’t write a review, but it appears that they were taken at Yucca Tap Room sometime in the past year and they had a blast. Other bands on the bill are unknown, but you can likely spot members in the crowd getting completely covered in confetti, beer, and whatever substance was coming out of the dong (see photos 12 & 13). As illustrated by this photo set, Broloaf really knows how to throw a great party and should probably tip whomever has to clean up after them very well. Let’s hope for lederhosen next time!
A few pics from the Phoenix SkaterCon International warm-up show that went down at Joe’s Grotto featuring Dephinger, The Earlygrabs and The Father Figures. Photos from the event coming soon! Thanks again to Adam Richards for an awesome event!
This year I proudly popped my Punk Rock Bowling club show cherry with a photo pass in hand. I tried to keep my cool as I elbowed my way across the photographers pit dodging security guards and camera lenses. Honestly keeping my cool is an understatement because all I wanted to do was scream like a mad lady; not out of anger but from pure excitement. Here I was with full access to snap shots at the one festival a year that strictly gears toward the nonconformist music. I’ve attended the PRB mains stage shows before, and the energy has not been duplicated to any other concert events. Since it was my first time going to the PRB club shows, I was curious if this experience would deliver the same feel. Spoiler alert: It did and then some. In addition to this rad photo opportunity, letting loose Vegas style was also my priority. With that in mind, I focused my efforts on Saturday and Sunday night club shows at The Backstage Bar.
